History

Edward Joseph Quevedo, more commonly known as Eddie, left school in 1992 and enrolled at business college in Redhill.  The college set a criteria to ensure students were placed within local businesses to gain invaluable work experience.  Aware of the buzz around the college because of an imminent placement Eddie decided to put himself forward for interview.  At this stage in his life he had little to no money but persuaded his best friend to lend him his father's oversized tweed jacket and shoes so that he could try to make the best impression he could.   Eddie was invited back for a second interview but with only enough money in his pocket for a one-way bus fare he had a seven mile walk home afterwards in his borrowed oversized shoes and tweed suit jacket! Eddie recalls thinking "I really hope I get this position".   The rest as they say is history.

After successfully completing his full apprenticeship in Building Services, HVAC heating ventilation and air conditioning engineering to HNC level Eddie progressed rapidly through the company  from junior to senior engineer/project manager.  This gave him a strong foundation in design, project management and customer service in the CommerciaL sector.

Eddie has continiously added to his professional development by obtaining trade specific qualifications such as City & Guilds, IPAF, PASMA etc. which can be seen below in his bio:

However whilst Eddie enjoyed the years that gave him a strong foundation it was working alongside the field engineers on installations, breakdowns and maintenance where he found the most satisfaction.   

Outside of work Eddie has a healthy interest in aviation, motorsport racing, martial arts & photography.
